DESCRIPTION: Review of the Planning Commission Review Draft of the Housing Element Update Initial Environmental Study/Negative Declaration (IES/ND).
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend City Council approval of the IES/ND

2. HOUSING ELEMENT UPDATE – GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT (GPA 12-117)
City of Sausalito
DESCRIPTION: Amendment of the General Plan to incorporate the Housing Element Update into the General Plan.
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend City Council approval of the General Plan Amendment

3. ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT REGULATIONS (ZOA 12-055)
Supplemental Staff Report

DESCRIPTION: Review of a Zoning Ordinance Amendment to add new regulations which permit new Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs, aka second units, granny units or in-law units) which meet criteria in the R-1, R-2 and R-3 Zoning Districts and legalize existing unpermitted ADUs which meet criteria in the R-1, R-2 and R-3 Zoning Districts. The Zoning Ordinance Amendment also deletes Zoning Ordinance Chapter 10.21 (Second Units).
RECOMMENDATION: Take public comment, review the revised regulations; make appropriate modifications; and recommend the City Council approval.
4. HARMONIA WELLNESS CENTER/2200 BRIDGEWAY (CUP 12-134)

DESCRIPTION: Conditional Use Permit to allow a cultural center for specialized programs in personal growth and development, including fitness, nutrition and health (APN 063-110-01). Continued from the July 25, 2012 Planning Commission meeting.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve subject to conditions.

APPEALS: Any decision of the Planning Commission may be appealed by filing an appeal form and the required appeal fee with the Community Development Department within ten (10) calendar days of the date of the decision. If you challenge a decision of the Planning Commission in court you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the hearing or on appeal to the City Council.
