 on Wednesdays at 9:30am- 10:15am (pre-registration required)
Moms and nannies are encouraged to participate in this fun and musical introduction to creative movement. This playful class improves motor skills as children perform finger plays, dance to nursery rhymes and move with balls or scarves to music. Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to dance in. Come barefoot or wear ballet shoes. Children must be the minimum age by the first day of class.

Pre- Ballet: Ages 3-4 Year Olds on Wednesdays at 10:30am- 11:15am (pre-registration required)
For children who want to try a ballet class, this is a fun introduction. Dancers develop gross and fine motor skills, learn cooperation, self control and class etiquette all while learning basic ballet. They catch fairies when they plie, jete over a colored ribbon and dance with a scarf to a story. Dancers should wear simple leotards, tights and ballet slippers. Children must be the minimum age by the first day of class. For questions about the class contact Miss Matrisha at 722-8281 or

RAD Ballet

Royal Academy Dance Ballet for Ages 3 1/2+
RAD ballet program is based on a progressive approach to build a strong and solid foundation of classical ballet technique that is appropriate to age and ability level of students. A fun and safe curriculum offered by RAD certified instructors now spread to 80 countries throughout the world. Every year over 250,000 students around the world are taught the academy’s classical ballet syllabus by RAD trained teachers. The program, while focused on classical ballet, also includes ‘free movement’ and ‘character dancing’ throughout the grade progressions in order to enrich students knowledge and experience with other dance genera.

Students enrolled are required to wear uniforms and have hair longer than shoulder length kept in a neat ballet bun.  For uniform, please contact Ms Jean Hedquist at D’Lynnes Dancewear, 1371 4th Street, San Rafael, CA 94901.
Instructor Terry Wong-McDonnell RAD RTS, ARAD has experience teaching ballet in the UK and Philippines for the Royal Academy of Dance and is excited to bring her dance instruction to Sausalito as the first RAD instructor in the Northern Bay Area.
