 Glen Court Sewer Replacement Project

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sausalito will receive sealed bids for the performance of the Work shown and described in the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents prepared for the Glen Court Sewer Replacement Project. Such sealed bids shall be received at the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Sausalito at 420 Litho Street until 2:00 PM December 21, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. On a date to be determined later, such bids shall be tabulated and submitted to the City Council for consideration and action consistent with the provisions of Public Contract Code Division 2, Part 3, Chapter 1, Article 4.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Replacement of existing 6-inch sanitary sewer with new 6-inch sanitary sewer using pipe bursting and open cut installation, replacement of existing manholes, replacement of existing lower sewer laterals and installation of cleanouts, construction of shored excavations related to the work, traffic control, storm water pollution prevention, dewatering, bypass pumping, pavement replacement and repair, grading and other miscellaneous work needed to restore areas disturbed by the construction back to original condition.

ROBIN SWEENY PARK IMPROVEMENTS
NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Sausalito (“City”), California, acting through its City Council, hereinafter referred to as the City or City of Sausalito, will accept sealed bids for the award of the contract for the above-designated project.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes but is not limited to: dust and noise control, tree protection and transplanting, site preparation and demolition, staking, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, trenching, erosion control, subgrade preparation, drilled piers, water systems, landscape drainage system, landscape brick masonry, site carpentry, concrete, paving, non-infill synthetic turf, rubberized surfacing for playgrounds, play equipment, signage, chain link fencing, ornamental fencing, site furnishings, electrical work, precast concrete posts with lights, graffiti resistant coatings, handrails and railings, potable water line and drinking fountain, irrigation, planting, and planting establishment period. Bid documents contain the full description of the Work.

Bids due: Sealed Bids shall be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Sausalito, 420 Litho Street, Sausalito, CA 94965 no later than 4:00 p.m. local time, on Wednesday December 23rd, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

Contract Documents will be mailed for an additional charge of $10.00 per set. Plans will be released as full sets only, no partial sets will be provided. The City received three bids for the Robin Sweeny Park Improvements. Bauman Landscape & Construction Inc is the apparent low bidder with base bid of $1,439,781 and total bid of $1,791,158 for all bid items. Suarez & Muñoz is the second lowest bidder with base bid of $1,599,614 and total bid of $1,930,944. Team Ghilotti is the third lowest bidder with base bid of $1,924,849 and total bid of $2,600,328.

 City of Sausalito Pre-Cleaning and Closed Circuit Television Sewer and Storm Drain Inspection Services

The City of Sausalito would like to notify your company that we are requesting proposals for our City of Sausalito Pre-Cleaning and Closed Circuit Television Sewer and Storm Drain Inspection Services.
The City of Sausalito seeks Proposals from qualified organizations to assist the City to complete pre-cleaning and closed circuit television (CCTV) inspection of approximately 8,250 lineal feet of sewer pipelines ranging from 4 to 8 inches in diameter, associated lower laterals, manholes, and 4,183 lineal feet of storm drain pipelines within the same roadways. The City may elect to contract with the selected firm to continue the CCTV Inspection Project in one or more subsequent years.
