Sausalito is embarking on a General Plan Update.
The General Plan provides a long-range vision and blueprint for the future of Sausalito. It serves as a basis for the decisions that affect future growth, development, and the allocation of City services, while addressing the unique characteristics and needs of Sausalito.
The General Plan was last updated in 1995. The update now underway provides the opportunity to look back on the policies and goals that were developed in 1995, determine if we want to refine them, and identify where improvements or changes are needed to respond to current and anticipated conditions.
Here's how you can participate in the General Plan Update:
To submit your interest to get involved, sign up for notifications, access resources, or apply for the GPAC, visit the Community Development Department in City Hall or go to SausalitoGeneralPlan.org
