The City of Sausalito and OpenGov.com announced the deployment of a powerful, web-based platform that presents and visualizes the City’s revenues and expenses—from multi-year trends to object-level details. By leveraging the OpenGov Platform, citizens and staff can use the site to enhance access, understanding, and analysis of the City of Sausalito’s annual budget.
City Administrative Services Director Charles Francis initiated the partnership to make the government administration’s finances easily accessible and understandable, and to build trust in the community. The public is invited to explore the tool which is now found on the City’s web site under the Finance section of the Administration Department, or directly at http://SausalitoCA.OpenGov.com/
By using this tool, the City of Sausalito is now providing actual historical budget data from
FY 2002-03 for public review via the OpenGov software. Each year
during the budget cycle, a new year of data will be added and the oldest
year removed, giving the public a rolling multi-year snapshot of
revenue and expenditure trends.

how to navigate the data are included via the "How To" tab at the top of
the web page. If you have questions related to using the site, please
