Where's the Dump? The Hazardous Waste Place?

The recycle center, dump and hazardous waste facility are located at the end of Jacoby Street, San Rafael. Phone 485-5646 (Recycling) or 485-6806 (Hazardous Waste).

Directions: Go North on highway 101 to the Bellam Blvd. Exit. Turn right at the light and then go 1 block to the light at Anderson drive. Turn left on Anderson Drive and just before Wendy’s, turn right on Jacoby St. The Dump and Hazardous Waste Facility are at the end of the street. Watch for the Recycle Center on the left just before the end of the street. (The Dump is not actually a dump, but is a refuse transfer station, recycling center and hazardous waste collection facility.)

Hours: 8-4 Mon. Sat. and 9-4 Sun.

Mon.-Sat. - 8:00 - 3:00

Fri.-Sat- ONLY 8:00 - 3:00

        Almost anything electronic

NOVATO “REDWOOD” DUMP - Go North on highway 101 through Novato and past Gnoss Airport. After the freeway drops down to two lanes, take the first right turn onto a funky road at the “Redwood Landfill” sign and gate. Proceed to the check-in booth.
