The Basics of Recycling and Refuse

All Sausalito residents and businesses are required to use weekly garbage service. This automatically includes unlimited curbside recycling services, minimizing your cost and minimizing the use of expensive landfills. We have designed the disposal and recycling systems for ease of use and economy, but you do need to follow the simple recycling rules. The Sausalito Sustainability Commission welcomes your comments, suggestions and questions. We constantly meet and refine the system, acting as advisors to the City Manager, the City Council and Bay Cities Refuse Service.
