Attached is the Proposed Street Repair Plan for 2009-2010 that has been approved by the City Council.
All streets on the list will be evaluated in detail for repair, however the final street segments selected for repair in the 2009-10 Street Project may differ due to budget constraints, coordination with utilities and private construction of which the City is aware.

Public Notice Update -- August 26, 2010
The current Sausalito 2010 Street Repair Project is almost complete except for some Slurry Seal treatment on specific streets. The following streets will be slurry sealed on Friday – August 27th:
Vista Clara –Curry to Monte Mar
Napa – Caledonia to Filbert
Butte (lower section) – Tomales to Olima
Marin – Nevada to internal circle street
If everything goes right the entire project slurry seal effort should be completed at the end of the working day on Friday August 27th.
We wish to thank all businesses and residents for their cooperation during those times that you may have been inconvenienced during this massive Capital Improvement Project for the 2009-2010 Street Repairs.

Bond Blacktop will return on Thursday and Friday August 26th & 27th to complete its work on the slurry seal. The schedule is as follows:

Slurry Seal of the following streets began on August 3, 2010.
This schedule is subject to change. The schedule has been changing daily. The subcontractor has been experiencing problems causing adjustments in the work and the Schedule. This action is limiting our ability to get the notification out in advance of the crews showing up. The most up to date information will be posted on barricades placed on the streets. To all inconvenienced by this work, please accept our apology. We are working with the contractor to improve communications.
The City of Sausalito awarded a contract to Maggiora and Ghilotti Engineering contractors for the 2010 Sausalito Street Repair Program. Major work began on July 14th, 2010.
Beginning July 22, 2010 work occurred in four phases:
Pavement Grinding
AC Overlay
Slurry Seal
Pavement Striping
No parking signs will be placed on specific streets 72 hours before work is to begin. Cars that are not off the street on the day of the work is scheduled will get towed.
