Parking in Residential Areas
If you are parking in a residential area - from "Old Town" (the south end of the city)
all of the way through downtown to the hills above Caledonia Street (north of the
downtown area) - you may need a parking permit to park on the streets for longer than
2 hours in the residential areas. If you are visiting a resident in this area, please check
with the resident to see if a permit is required.
If you are frequenting one of the businesses or restaurants near Caledonia Street,
check for signs while parking. From 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, parking is limited to two hours
in most areas.
And it should be most strongly noted that some streets above Caledonia Street
are clearly posted as being for "Residential Parking Only after 6:00 pm".
