Founded in 1961, the mission of the Friends is to support the Library through volunteer assistance and by financial contributions to enhance the library’s collections, services and ambiance. Membership dues and book sales are the Friends’ major sources of income.
Typically the Friends contribute each year to fund the Library’s “wish list” which covers such items as new DVDs, books on CD, music CDs, furniture and special children’s programs.
