Sausalito Winterfest (and Locals Discount!)
This year, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Sausalito Lighted Boat Parade, the Sausalito on the Waterfront Foundation is pulling out all the stops. In addition to the Boat Parade which now includes Fireworks, the Foundation has planned a fun filled weekend of events for adults and children alike.  You may have noticed the large tent that went up in the Yacht Harbor parking lot downtown.  This tent will be the place to be.  On Friday there will be the first annual Naughty or Nice Ball with over 30 restaurants and wineries giving out samples of their best.  There will also be dancing to “The Unauthorized Rolling Stones”. Saturday afternoon the Tent will be filled with free kids events such as cookie decorating, face painting, and a special show by local favorite Tim Cain.  Saturday after the boat parade the Tent will feature a Dance Party with none other than Mr. Dance Party himself, Jim Gabbert.  The Foundation is currently offering a $10 discount to all residents who buy their tickets to the Naughty or Nice Ball in advance.  Simply go to and when prompted, enter the coupon code LOCAL.    For additional information on all events go to  We’ll see you at the Tent this weekend!
And don’t forget that now through January 1, you can also take advantage of the three hours of free holiday parking at any street meter.  (However, if you do put money in the meter, this will be a donation to our humanitarian grants.)
