Unsolved Homicide

In August of 1990, Mr. Dexter R. Jacobson was found shot to death in a culvert, near the Rodeo Avenue fire trail entrance, off of southbound  US Highway 101.  Mr. Jacobson's car was parked nearby, and is believed to have been there from at least August 14th to the 18th.

Mr. Jacobson was a Bay Area based attorney, and was involved in a very detailed legal investigation at the time of his death.

This freeway exit's primary purpose is as an access point for the Rodeo and Alta fire trails that service the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.  This area is frequented by hikers, mountain bikers, and other outdoor enthusiasts.

The Waldo Grade area of US Highway 101 is heavily traveled, especially during the summer months.

We need your help putting unidentified suspects behind bars.  Please contact the Sausalito Police Department Investigations if you have any information that would help in this case.
