Don’t Miss Out on Sausalito’s Fourth
of July Extravaganza!
I LOVE A
PARADE!!! And there is nothing comparable to
the Sausalito Fourth of July Day Parade each year – as eclectic, amusing,
entertaining and artistic as our waterfront community.
It’s a great way to showcase your
business to locals and visitors alike
–or just have some old-fashioned fun! It’s FREE to
participate -- So dress
up the dog, bring out the kids, decorate your car, promote your business or
community group and join us in the street for a great morning of red, white and
blue, festive frivolity.
Parade starts on South Bridgeway at
10 am and meanders through downtown Sausalito to
Caledonia
Street and into Dunphy Park where an afternoon of live music,
food and fun for the whole family awaits.
Parade entry application is
attached; for more information contact Parks & Recreation
289-4152.

SUPPORT OUR
FIREWORK DISPLAY!!!
Sausalito’s Firework
Display has been a long-time
community attraction, capping a day of patriotic celebration. When
you can’t see the SF fireworks through the fog, Sausalito $25,000’s are sparkling,
exploding and bright, lighting up the sky and our historic waterfront. This spectacular pyrotechnical
display costs, however (yes, that’s almost $1,500 a
minute!) and has always been
supported by donations from our local residents and merchants.
We’ve already raised close to $10,000 to underwrite this
expense (thank
you!)…but we need your help to keep this tradition going. Call
Parks & Rec (289-4152) to donate with a credit card or drop a check by their
office at City Hall.
