I started my law enforcement career in 1981 and consider it a privilege to serve the Sausalito Community as the Police Chief since 2005. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Relations and a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership.
The hard working women and men of Sausalito Police Department are responsible for the protection of life and property, the maintenance of order, the control and prevention of crime, enforcement of motor vehicle laws and local ordinances.
Community partnerships with police is a key ingredient for ensuring Sausalito remains a safe City. In order to accomplish our policing mission we encourage community involvement and input on all policing issues. Citizens have a responsibility to take an active role in reporting all public safety concerns and closely working with the Police employees to help resolve problems with long term solutions. Only by working together can we continue to create and maintain the quality of life we expect for all those who love and enjoy Sausalito.
